headlight change

I had to take battery out for headlight change. I put negative cable on first, now when I put headlights on, the radio lights go off. id I connect something wrong or is this another issue? Thanks

It sounds like the dash light dimmer needs to be turned up can you try and let me know?

it is better when i turned it, but seems not as brite as before...........but i will take it.......26 yr old car......thanks.....
