Current eight pin headlight. bought new lights six pin did not know and cannot return. Is there a connector to bridge the two?

No, the 8 pin lights are HID units and the 6 pin are non HID units. They use a different control module and wiring.
You would be better off getting the 8 pin units and putting the 6 pin up for sale.
