The headlights have completely stopped working?

My headlights have completely quit working, but if I hold the switch back to turn the right, or the dim, it’ll come on as long as I’m manually holding it. What can be my problem?

It sounds like the headlamp switch is bad, have you tried a new one? If not here is how to change it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
