My turn signal/headlight switch broke recently. I ordered an aftermarket switch and it is identical except for the fact that the new one has an "off" position and the old one had AUTO. When I replaced it, I turned the lights on and immediately heard the headlamp relay clicking constantly never stopping. The lights were not going on and off, everything is working properly except that clicking.

This is due to different wiring in the switch. The best thing that you can do is return the switch that you received and order the exact correct switch. That should take care of your issue(s) and get you going again. Good luck and keep us posted.
