I changed my low beam head light on the passenger side and it would not turn on, then I went inside the car to turn light switch on and off and noticed that every time I turn the turn signal to the passenger side were the head light is out, the dome light inside the car comes on now. This was never a problem until I changed the bulb. My driver's side low beam light does come on still though.

Hi,

If you switch the bulbs, does it work? Also, I have a feeling that we have an issue with the switch itself, but we need to confirm a few things.

Try switching the bulb that is working. When you do this, see if there is any damage to the wiring connector at the bulb and inspect the wiring itself.

Let me know what you find.

Joe

Hi,

I have a feeling I know what is wrong, but I need you to check for power at the right low-beam socket.

If you look at the wires to it, there should be a black (ground) and a white wire with a tan tracer. Turn the lights on and see if there is power at the white/tan wire. See pics below.

If there is no power, then suspect a connector issue at the totally integrated power module. We will need to check that next.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe
