Just when I think I have them all it still won't budge. Also, it looks like it is a 2-piece system, in which I removed all bolts for the top half but still no movement. Is the distributor bolted to the intake? I have removed fuel rail and all bolts under it and all bolts to brackets on back side as well as throttle body, all hoses and vacuums have been removed. Getting a little frustrated and trying to avoid bringing out BFH to kick it loose. Also, any tips you can give regarding removing heads and such would be Greatly appreciated. Thank you, guys, in advance for doing this for free as all my money is going into parts and I can't find any diagrams for the diamante anywhere on the internet. So, you guys are like life savers. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Dave Switzer
PS. If you could provide torque specs for any related bolts it would be appreciated.

Sure, here is the bolt location and torque specs of the intake manifold for your 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I feel like such a dork. The two bolts holding the throttle cable in place were the culprits, hiding in plain sight lol the clamps had been bent up and I kept missing them somehow. But it's off and now to the exhaust manifolds. After which I should be in the clear. Thanks for your answer, I very much appreciate it and will be back, I'm sure. Have a great day!

Hi guys, once again thank you for the quick response. So, I'm down to the exhaust manifolds, any advice for the rest of the way to replacing the head gaskets? Any advice or diagrams would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave
