Replacing head gasket. It is blown out in front oil galley going to camshaft. Losing compression in front cylinder and oil fouling the alternator. Specifically need torque specs for head bolts, are they torque to yield, and timing belt alignment procedure, but as usual, step by step instructions are appreciated. Thank you, Alex.

I would start by disconnecting the battery and draining the coolant. This guide can help us get started as well:

Here are the steps and cylinder head torque specs as requested. Cylinder head bolt
1. Install the cylinder head bolts.
2. Tighten the cylinder head bolts in two or three steps in the order shown.

Tightening torque:
76-81 N.m ( 7.7-8.3 kgf.m , 56-80 ft.lbf )

Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Hi Alex, I noticed you haven't been contacted for a couple of days. I have a favor to ask. We try to keep the threads specific to one topic, so they are more helpful to others. We will be happy to provide the information needed, but could you start a new post related to the timing belt?

Here is the link to start a new one:

I hope you understand.

Take care,

Joe
