Flashing hazard lights would not turn off

The hazard lights started to flash and wouldn't shut off. They flashed until the battery ran down.

Hi,

I reviewed the wiring schematic and attached them below. Either we have a short to ground, via the tan wire I highlighted, the switch itself has failed and is shorted to ground, or there is an internal fault in the body control module.

What I would suggest is to do would be to disconnect the hazard switch to see if they turn off. If they do, chances are the switch itself is bad.
