I replaced the switch itself and it didn't solve the problem. The blinkers both work so the fuse is still good. The fuse box under the hood doesn't appear to have anything related to the hazard lights.

Hi,

There are two different fuses. One is for the signals and the other is for the hazards. I attached a pic of the wiring schematic below. Check the hazard fuse (10 amp) located in the fuse box under the dash. (Left side).

Note: The fuse should have power at all times regardless of the key position. Confirm there is power to and from the fuse.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Is there power to and from the fuse? You may have a good fuse, but no power is present. It happens somewhat often. If the power supply upstream fails, you can lose it there.

Let me know,

I checked the spot where the fuse gets inserted and it had power, the box under the steering wheel. And the fuse itself was good.

Underneath the hood there is nothing that indicates a hazard relay or anything of the sort.

I just need to get this fixed so my lady's vehicle can pass inspection in October. I'm starting to wonder if it's a wiring cable issue. I have very minimal experience in the car maintenance area. It's not my field of work and I've been learning what I have to learn over the past few years to keep costs lower.

Hi,

There is a hazard fuse under the dash and a relay for the left and one for the right turn
signal. Is that the fuse you are referring to?

Also, do the turn signals work properly?
