Have power but will not turn over

I have power to every thing but it will not turn over.

What clues have you observed? Does the starter solenoid make a single, rather loud clunk each time you turn the ignition switch to "crank"? Have you tried starting the engine in "neutral"? Do you see the head lights or interior lights dim when trying to crank the engine?
