Pipe to exhaust dragging

I was driving down the road the other day and I heard something dragging under my car and sure enough it was a pipe that went into my exhaust. I want to know if it's something I will be able to weld back together.

Good morning,

No, you cannot. The metal is all rusted away. You cannot weld rust to rust.

You will need to replace the front pipe with the resonator. I attached a picture for you of the part you need. Rock auto has the part.
