Hard top stuck in trunk after changing battery

Changed battery and now hard top is stuck in trunk. Everything else seems to be working. Red light on above the words close on the activation button.

It sounds like you may have had a voltage surge that popped a fuse or the roof control unit. Lets do the easy stuff first which is check the fuses. Here is a wiring diagram so you can see how the system works and the location of the fuses. The wiring diagrams show you which fuses to test.
