Engine cranks but does not start

Once is a while the engine is hard to start. Engine will turn over with no problem but just will not start. Take off battery cable and put back on it starts. No check engine light ever comes on.

Hi,

When this happens and it won't start, I need you to check something before disconnecting the battery. I need to know if the vehicle lost spark to the plugs or fuel pressure.
