Car was difficult to start this evening. It's Wednesday and haven't driven it since Monday evening. The temperature did drop on Monday and well through this morning. I've tried starting it since it would earlier, and it's starting with no issues now. Is it the battery? It is 3 years old.

Hi,

When you say it was difficult to start, do you mean the engine turned slowly? If so, it could be the battery from sitting.

Let's start with this. Here is a link that shows how to load test a battery at home:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-battery-load-test

Try that at home, or you can take it to a nationally recognized parts store and they will likely load test it for free.

By doing this, we can determine if the battery is an issue.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
