It sounds like you might have a weak or failing fuel pump. The first thing I suggest is performing a fuel pressure test. If you don't have access to a fuel pressure tester most auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved checking fuel pressure:

After performing this test get back to us with the results and we'll go from there. Also, Is the check engine light on? The fuel pressure specification for your car is to be 55-58 PSI with the engine running. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
