I have to press on the accelerator about a dozen times before the engine will finally start. I did a complete engine tune up as will as a fuel system cleaning. the carburetor choke operates fine. the engine runs fine after it does start and warms up.

Hello,

While using a flashlight remove the air cleaner and with the engine not running look down inside the carburetor and work the throttle you should see two streams of fuel going into the engine. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Let me know what you find.
