requires two to three key turnovers to start. compare that to my 4-Runner with the same size motor V6 3.4L which starts in two cranks hot or cold.

If you turn the key on and off several times with out cranking, it may help to prime the fuel system. If that is the case, have to check fuel system, use a gauge and check proper fuel pressure. How long since a tune-up? If fuel issue, have you ever changed the fuel filter? There could be other issues?

Thanks for all the input and advice. I did a tune up two months ago and I also replaced the fuel filter. I just cleaned the MAF as it started throwing codes P0171 which fixed that issue. I will clean the IAC and I have my old injectors being reworked and will put those in to see if that fixes the hard cold start issue.
