Car starts eventually, not right away. Thought it was the battery so made the purchase for new one. Still has the same problem. The check engine light comes on after the starting process. Otherwise it drives and handles really good. What do I need to correct the hard starting and make check engine light go off? Thanks.

you need to scan for codes then use a scanner to turn off light. but get code first, then check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. See link.
