Hard start and rough idle when in Drive

The car starts every time, but it cranks too long. In other words, it cranks 8-12 times before it fires up, instead of only 3-6 times. When you shift to Drive, it is noticeably rougher than when in Park. Also, it doesn't matter if it's warm or not.

Hi,

It could be the fuel pump or clogged fuel filter. Check the actual fuel pressure low pressure will cause long crank time. The running pressure should be between 44 - 55 PSI, and after 5 minutes of being shut off, It should not drop below 21 PSI. If the fuel pressure was lower than specified. The fuel pump and the fuel filter should be replaced. I;m attaching repair guides and schematic below. let us know if you need more information.
