Hard start, start it again it acts like old carburetor with choke?

First start of the day is normal but driving for a while shutting it off trying to start it again it acts like old carburetor with choke stuck, but tap the throttle it comes out of it, but jumps to 2,000 for about 15-20 seconds. The code says EGR, swapped it out still have same problem.

Do we have any codes? let's use this guide to check, also it sounds like it might be a vacuum leak at the throttle body base gasket, we should service the throttle body as well. here are some guides to get us started on fixing the problem:
