When I am at idle or even driving the car, I have an idling noise. I haven't had one until after my oil change and transmission fluid flush. I don't want the car to mess up any but I can sit in the car with the A/C
off and it's a loud gurgle. And I'm also getting bad gas mileage from it as well. I should be getting more than 14 MPG in this car.

Hi,

Wow, that ls less MPG than I get with a V8 4wd Dakota. Not good.

If you just had the transmission serviced, return to the shop that did it. I have a feeling the fluid is low.

If you want to check it yourself, place the vehicle on a flat surface and allow it to reach operating temperature.

With the engine running and the transmission in park, remove the transmission dipstick, wipe it off, reinstall it, and remove it to determine the level. Note the vehicle must be level, engine running, in park, and at operating temperature.

Here is a link that you may find helpful:

I attached a pic below showing the location of the transmission dip stick.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.,

Take care,

Joe
