No overheating but when you shut it off gurgles back through radiator

Engine runs perfect. . Always a on it low on water even though I fill it up each time. Just had head gasket replaced. Heater works very well.

Well, the coolant is going somewhere. Have you inspected the color of the engine oil on your vehicle's dipstick. Please check and if it a creamy brown color, like coffee with cream and sugar in it, then the head gasket did not take.
