Car starts and drives fine but noticed when I put it in gear and push gas, I hear the engine growl a bit as it goes. Any ideas?

Hello,
If possible, can you post a clear video demonstrating the sound? Also, does it only do it in gear or can you replicate the noise in neutral? Please let us know.

Sorry can't seem to get a video to link. I don't have to be in gear. I tried while in neutral and still hear the beginning grrr before it sounds normal.

Thanks for the reply. Well, it could potentially be an exhaust rattle. Does the noise occur at the beginning of revving the engine each time? I hope you can get a video to work soon. Chasing noises can be tricky.

Hi,
If you have a helper have them rev it in neutral while you are listening to the engine. Let's see if we can pinpoint at least the general area of the noise, it may be louder in one place vs another. Please let us know.
