Groaning noise when car is first running?

Hi,

Have you checked the power steering fluid level and condition? If you haven't, that is where I would start. I don't know what system you have, but it is very important to use the correct fluid type on this vehicle. Some have electric power steering and require a specific fluid.

Do me a favor. When it's cold, open the hood and have someone start the engine. See if you can tell approximatelywhere the sound is coming from. If it has an electric system, the sound will come from the lower portion of the engine's front.

I attached directions below for checking both systems.
