My vehicle listed above went to grinding really bad while 50 miles from home. Had it replaced last week along with supposedly bad axle. As I drove it away from the shop, it went to grinding immediately. It went back yesterday and mechanic said brake was rubbing against rotor but they were all new which rotors did have slight wear. Replaced them as well. He picked me up but it's still grinding. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

Is there any change in the sound when you make turns? Also, check to make sure the backing plate behind the brake rotor didn't somehow get bent and is rubbing the rotor.

As always, it is helpful if you could record the sound and upload it for me to hear. Also, let me know if the sound you originally heard has changed in any way since the work was done.

Let me know.
