Once I change the gear to Drive their is a noise maybe a grinding metal on metal noise kinda sound like metal teeth grinding but it is not loud but, it is there. I only hear this noise when I have my foot on the brake, and I put it into drive it will start and keep going, this also happens in reverse. I am not sure if it is still making the noise as I begin to drive because other noises will start to overcome it, but it does not happen in neutral. Could this be like a transmission issue?

Hello,

It sounds like the noise might be coming from the rear differential.
It could be metal shavings inside the differential that is grinding against the gears.

Check the fluid for the rear differential. Look for any contamination like metal shavings.

Any time the fluid is or have metal shavings it needs to be changed.

Here is a helpful guide of how to service the differential:

Please let me know what you find.
Thank you.
