Hello, my 2003 Ford Tourneo Connect makes a grinding noise (the noise seems to come from the right front side) when driving when accelerating it gets louder and when it gets over 100km/h the noise gets not so loud. I've changed the gearbox thinking it was the differential, i've also changed the right wheel bearing thinking it was also that, i've looked at the CV axle it looks good, the bearing on the right CV axle also looks good. I don't know what could it be anymore. What do you think it could be?

Good afternoon,

This sounds like the wheel bearing is worn out. I attached the procedure for replacing the bearing. I would also replace both sides since one side is bad the other side will fail shortly.

The only thing left on the side is the axle itself. The CV joint may be the issue. The grease may have dried out and scored the races on the bearing.

That isn't it either i've took it out and apart each part, there is no problem with it, that's why I don't know what else could it be.

Are you sure it is coming from that side? Noise travels and could be coming from another area.

I would take it somewhere and have them put it on a lift and run the car on the lift and see if they can recreate the noise.
