Hi and welcome.

Gray or white smoke is caused by burning oil. The 3 main causes are:

1: Worn out piston rings. (Rebuild motor)
2: Worn out valve guides. (Replace guides or whole head)
3: A cracked engine block.

Are all 8 plugs fouling out or are some okay?

Are the plugs coming out wet when you check them? The engine could be running very rich, fouling out plugs. Especially considering how old the vehicle is.
