I have the vehicle listed above z18xe. If I press the accelerator a bit while starting it idles until I let go of the pedal. New fuel pump-crank/cam sensor (Buick) ignition coil. Fuel pressure around 30 PSI. There is a slight of liquid/oil at the thermostat/connector. Appreciate insight.

Hi,

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.

As far as the issue, on many vehicles, there is an idle air control valve. This valve is responsible for maintaining the idle speed. It will be located on the throttle body. You may want to consider locating and servicing it.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

If the fuel pressure it that low, chances are that is the problem. Which hose is damaged? Is there a leak?
