GPS and clock not working

Recently tried to install a new map update disc and screen read caution you need to do a software update. The GPS screen will not retract and the radio won’t work. It all just quit working. I pulled the fuse and tried the original map disc and didn’t change anything. Do I need to go to dealer to fix the problem or can you help?

For this you need a dealer. There is a special update needed to allow the system to work with the recent GPS changes. They will use the scan tool and access to TIS to update the system.
