"CHECK ENGINE SOON" MESSAGE IN COLD WEATHER

My 2002 GMC YUKON XL has 70,000 miles on it. When the weather began to turn cold the "Check Engine Soon" message light came on. My repair shop changed the Fuel Pump, Regulator and PCV valve under warranty because the codes reflected a fuel and lean mixture problem. The problem went away for a couple of weeks, but the weather warmed up again the day after repairs were made. Now that the weather is consistently cold the message light comes on and the engine idles rough each time it is started in cold (35 or below) temps. The engine runs fine after it warms up, but the light stays on until the ambient temperature warms up. Any suggestions?

U NEED TO CHANGE THE UPPER INTAKE GASKETS. GM HAS A BULLETIN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WILL COUSE A LEAN MIXTURE CODES (P0171 & P0172) THERE IS A NEW UPDATED GASKET THAT WILL CURE UR PROBLEM WHAT HAPPENS IS THAT UR GASKETS RELAX WHEN VEH. IS COLD LETTING ENG. TO SUCK AIR COUSING AIR/FUEL MIXTURE CONF. ONCE VEH. IS WORM IT EXPAND SEALING AIR LEAK. SO MAKE SURE THE NEW GASKETS SEALS ARE GREEN ( NOT RED OLD STYLE ) UR GM DEALER SHOULD KNOW ABOUT IT.
