abs light problem

No....the brake pads do not have sensors or anything on them. There is something going on with the ABS. You can go to a local parts store and most of them have a code reader to scan the codes and get you started in the right direction...

i had the abs checked,its the abs module ,how difficult would it be to replace it myself with a new one?(im no mechanic)

The abs module is pretty easy to replace, BUT it will have to be programed to the vehicle. I don't know if anyone but a dealer could do it.

the reason i would like to do it mysel is because at the mechanic shop they would charge me $1776.00 for part and labor thats a too much,,,,would the same abs module of another 2002 gmc yukon fit,or will it still have to be program by a specialist?
