2005 GMC Yukon fuel problem

When pumping gas the pump always shuts off after about 10 seconds. It sounds like air trying to escape the gas tank. How can I correct this?

Welcome to the forum, have you tried different gas pumps, I've seen some pumps do that. Have the trouble codes checked? Maybe a problem with the evap system? That vapor has to go somewhere, evap canister under the hood? I'd have to check anything emissions related at the tank and from the tank.
