2003 GMC Yukon Speedometer

Hey I have a 2003 gmc yukon with 74226 miles and the speedometer has stopped working when i start the truck the speedometer starts at 50 do u think it is the battery because once the battery died and we recharged it and every since then it does not work properly.

Sometimes you can move the speedo needle physically and it will work again, other times it won't, and the cluster needs to be replaced...
