2002 GMC Yukon SPARK PLUGS

I am changing the plugs on my Yukon and the boot is stuck to the plug. I don't want to tare the boot and there is a metal heat shield around the boot. is there a trick to getting the boot off without destroying it?

You need to get to the bottom of the boot. use a heay wire with a short right angle bend at the bottom to gently work the boot loose from the ceramic insulator. It should pop off wih a little assistance once the seal is broken.
