I have a 2001 Yukon Denali and when the engine is cold there is a loud squeeking sound coming from the serpentine/pulley area. Tends to get worse when I rev it up but goes away once the vehicle warms up. The belt shows no signs of wear. Any suggestions?

When the car is first started, the alt needs to work harder to recharge the battery. If the belt is good, chances are you have a belt tenisoner going bad. Make sure the belt's tension is proper.
