2001 GMC Yukon Gas gauge not reading properly

My gas gauge on my 01' yukon reads no fuel then reads different readings. I'm never really sure how much fuel I have.

Sounds like a faulty sending unit. May also be the voltage regulator. First, test all wiring to these components to ensure they are not loose or broken.
