WHAT COULD BE CAUSING IT TO SUDDENLY SLIP IN ALL GEARS

Torque converter. Make sure you have the proper amount of transmission fluid. Check this while the car is RUNNING at operating temperature and in park. You must have the car running and hot to properly guage the amount of fluid in the transmission.
