1999 GMC Yukon Additional info on original question

1999 GMC YUKON
178,520 MILES • V8 • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

We checked the spark plugs and even removed them and they are not burnt snd gap is correct. Turned engine over we get good spark, tried starter fluid and still does not catch.
What else can we check?

Hi:
This is the first I've read this. Have you checked timing? If you have spark and fuel, it should run unless the compression is low.
