1996 GMC Yukon no oil pressure?

1996 GMC Yukon V8 Automatic

i just replaced the head gaskets on the 5.7 L engine and now have no oil pressure. i have tryed to manually turn the oil pump to try and prime the engine and still no pressure. i also took a valve cover off and turned the oil pump over and there is no oil coming out of the push rods/ no oil getting to the rocker arms.
if you know what this could be your help is much appreciated cause i am just stumped on this one!

Oil galleries could be clogged-up or the oil pump is gone. check the distributor drive gear and oil pump shaft.
