1995 GMC Yukon HELP !!!

Coming to a stop the engine flexuates from high to low idle... just got it out of the shop for a completely clogged catalytic converter. does this have anything to do with the problem now and what could it be.?

convertor should have anythign to do with it unless the o2 sensors are hooked up wrong, does it do it witha cold engine?
