2005 GMC Truck transfercase

I have pushbutton 4wd and when i press 4high or auto4wd just clicks and stays in 2high and the button i push just flashes. It will engage to 4low and i can get it to go nuetral. Thank you for any advice. I have had to replace a trans and rear dif in a 02 chevy 4x4 and just lost my job,moved it overseas and cant afford a huge expense. God Bless America ,We need it!!!

I'm not that familiar with the push button style, but I believe that they operate off solenoids on the transfer case. See if you can purchase a repair manual from a parts store, and it should give you the info you need as far as location etc. mickey-d
