2003 GMC Truck error code P0171

What can I do to fix the error code P0171. When idleing it is running rough, and when driving there is power loss. When you let off the gas the motor stalls.

I believe that code is a lean system code for bank one on a V8 GMC engine. Go to your local parts store, and they will scan it for you and tell you the problem. they usually do it for free, hoping you will buy the needed parts from them. Check for pulled loose wiring to the injectors, also plugged or dirty fuel filter.
