Transmission problem
1997 GMC Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Truck will not shift into gear. There is no tachometer, speedometer, and no gear indicater. We have replaced the computer, dash cluster, all fuses and relays, output speed sensor, and neutral safety switch. We have hooked up a diagnostic computer and the truck will shift out manually. Any ideas????

You are being pretty vague on your description of the problem. What trans is it, does it have a kick down cable, does it have a vacuum modulator, how about any electric solenoids ?? Check for all of these things, and chances are one of them will be the problem. It's also possible, that if this is a different trans, or the vehicle is new to you, it could have a manual shift valve body.
