Im looking for a new rear axle and Im wondering about some ways of figuring out what the gear ratio is so I get the right one in the new axle???

I'm sorry but your question is not making any sense, but I think I know what you're trying to say, I will give you some good advice, when you go to the junkyard to pick out a differential, make sure you tell them that your truck is a manual, trucks like yours with automatic transmissions run a different gear ratio in the rear end and because your truck is a 4 Wheel Drive you will have no choice but to put back in it the same gear ratio that you have now so it matches the front axle. OK?
