If you have to ask, maybe you should not attempt to do it. If you really want to try it, first purchase a good repair manual for your specific vehicle and read all about doing the repair/replacement you're considering. You will need to raise the vehicle up some, and you will need a lot of job specific tools, including some type of trans jack. Good luck on you mission.
