Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1983 GMC Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual

How do i remove and replace the U-Joints on the front drive axles. it looks like a big job. Do you need any special tools?

Yes it is a big job, and yes you need special tools. Get a repair manual from your local parts store, and it will show you how to do it, and tell you what tools you'll need. Some parts places also rent the tools out for repairs.
