Suburban will start and run fine. Can sometimes go for days without any problem. Suddenly the car will die as if it isn't getting any gas. This happened once about a year ago while going about 65 on the highway. I tried to pass a car and it wouldn't shift down. I started going up a hill and realized I had no power. I tried giving it gas but it was obvious it wasn't getting any. I pulled over and the engine died. I restarted it and drove another 150 miles with no incident. This past week I went on a trip pulling a small pop-up trailer. The vehicle did the same thing. This time it did it quite often during the trip. I would pull over and restart the engine and it would run fine for awhile. Sometimes I could go 5 or 10 minutes before it would die again and sometimes an hour or more. I made it home and replaced the fuel filter. Didn't fix the problem. Vehicle will die idling, going 65 and anywhere in between. It always starts right back up though and will run for a varying amount of time. Fuel pump was replaced about 4 1/2 years ago.
