1999 GMC Suburban daytime running headlamps

I would like to find how to turn off the daytime running headlamps. As soon as I release the parking brake the headlamps turn on.

That's how it was designed so vehicle is easily seen on road. You can try removing DRL relay in convinence center.

D. Daytime R. Running L. Light relay. Its a small gray box inside your fuse panel under the hood.
