My Suburban will not go into 4 wheel drive, high or low. it clicks like it wants to when i push the selector button. In addition when i drive on the Highway at around 60 mph while feathering the gas, it will make horrible klunk in the front end almost like it wants to lock up the front axle. very scarry.

what can i do to fix this?

Hi:
It sounds like the actuator isn't fully engaging the system. I recommend having it checked by a qualified mechanic before you end up with new problems.
